Are You Eligible for a Military Hearing Loss Compensation Claim?

You are eligible for a military hearing loss claim if you served in the British armed forces, were exposed to loud noise without adequate protection, and have a diagnosis of hearing loss or tinnitus. Claims can be made through the AFCS or as a civil claim against the MOD.

Eligibility Criteria

You served in the British Army, Royal Navy, Royal Marines, or RAF
You were exposed to loud noise during service (weapons, engines, aircraft, explosions)
You have been diagnosed with hearing loss or tinnitus by a doctor or audiologist
Your claim is within the relevant time limits (or date of knowledge applies)
The noise exposure was without adequate ear protection
You have not already settled a claim for this injury
